Photography; It’s a creative means to separate a moment from motion, and capture that beauty in a way of permanence.
Seeing life through a lens has taught me to focus in on a world that I may have otherwise ignored. It has driven me to discover adventure, appreciate stillness and stumble upon surprises. It has pushed me to reach outside of my comfort zone and to experience the richness in this world.
Sharing my photography is like sharing a secret. It’s sharing a moment that has vanished, but also sharing a message - a beautiful reminder for people to simply pay attention.
I grew up in Australia and moved to America at the age of 18 to play college baseball – a game I have played my entire life. Most of my lessons in life had been taught through the hard work and discipline of the game. But in discovering photography, I found new lessons about the world, and even more about myself that have led to a freedom I never thought existed.
